We here, at the front office of the Vicksburg Catfish, recognize the achievements of the Kahului Turtles in their quest for the 2033 Broken Bat Cup. Although Kahului is a rival in our league, we must admit that they are an amazing team run by an amazingly talented owner. We wish the Turtles good luck in the quarter finals and hope they move on.

Jun 27 2033: Vicksburg to Release Beaumont - by ESac on September 1st, 2017

The Vicksburg Catfish will release veteran OF Tyler Beaumont after 13 seasons with the organization, 10 in the majors. After 3 strong seasons in the minors, Tyler had a .266 AVG and .326 OBP. These numbers amazed the scouts in the majors, allowing him to be called up. Although he had a slow start in his majors career offensively, his contributions in CF is what brought him back every year. It wasn't until his 7th season (2030) that he brought the same fire as in Double and Triple A. In 2030, he played 106 games, finished with a .321 AVG, and a .373 OBP. In his major league career, he has a .265 AVG and a .338 OBP. The Vicksburg Catfish would like to thank Tyler for his contributions on and off the field and would like to wish him luck in future whether it involves baseball or not.

Jan 18 2026: It’s Official! Collierville gets the baseball team they have desired for such a long time. - by mightyduckworth on January 26th, 2016

New and first time owner Aaron Duckworth is excited for the opportunity to take his career in a new direction. A former Colligate Baseball player, now a Director of Fitness & Wellness will dust of his old cleats and step back into the box.

Here are some comments from today’s press conference held at 4:30p Ct.

“First off, I wanted to thank everyone for trusting me to run such a great organization. As everyone knows, my first action as Owner and GM is to relocate the Franchise to Collierville, Tn. I want to personally thank the people of Bartlesville for being great and loyal fans and I hope they understand the reason for this transition. Furthermore, I hope they can continue to support us in our new city".

“The people of Collierville have wanted a team for so long and we hope this fresh start is the first step in building a winning Franchise for years to come. Thank you and God Bless”.

Collierville is a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee with a population of roughly 46,000. They will join the Grizzlies as the only other professional sports team in Memphis and it's surrounding area. Collierville has produced MLB talents such as Zack Cozart of the Cincinnati Reds and pitcher Drew Pomeranz of the San Diego Padres.
