Nov 04 2041: Second league title and many more to come! - by SFGiants101 on August 8th, 2019

Oxford has won it's second league title!! After beating palatine one last time 6-5 after scoring 5 runs in the 8th they shut them down in the ninth! Good Job Palatine and we may face you soon in LL5!

Nov 01 2041: Weird playoff games - by SFGiants101 on August 8th, 2019

So Oxford came into their game thinking this is going to be an easy sweep. I mean we clearly have the better record and the better hitting with almost everyone hitting above .300 and almost every starter with 10+ wins.

Then Palatine dipped those feelings way down! They actually took the first two games! HOW!? But this lit a fire in the player's minds. Now it was on. Then day 2 came along. The first game was a 6-4 win. It had no homers but it was still awesome to watch. Javier Pantoja came out swinging! The first inning he hits a single and gets moved around the bases and scores. The next inning Pantoja hits a double to bring in two in!

The 2nd game was definitely a pitchers dual for the first 6 innings we were up 2-0. Then Palatine made it interesting in the 6th and their lead-off man hits a bomb off Rios. But of course the offense wakes up and adds 2 more. The highlights are Pantoja's 2-run shot. Then it was Dana Luce that hits a sac fly. Then the next inning Burt hits a single to bring in one more.

The last game was a nail bitter for the fans. Palatine got 2 early runs to make it 2-0. Fabián Barrientos came up after those two runs and struck with a high fly ball to Deep left field and it was outta here. But then they scored one more to make it 3-2. And it went to the top of the 9th and the players on Palatine thought it was over. But never say m'boys are out. That just puts a fire in them. Dana Luce then hits a bomb to left field. I mean a bomb! 401 feet to be exact. That brings in 2 runs. There were also two outs! talk about clutch! The last inning Sinclair came in a was a tiny bit shaky but still got the save and the win. Oxford up 3-2 and 1 win to secure the league title.

Oct 16 2041: Move in the off-season? - by SFGiants101 on August 3rd, 2019

GM SFGiants101 is thinking about moving the franchise to Atlanta or Orlando in interviews. He has asked the players if they want to stay in Georgia and go to the capital Atlanta or move farther south to orlando. We have close 51% want to go to Orlando and that is including Gerardo Jimenez and Javier Pantoja. And 49% say they want to stay in Georgia that includes Stacey Becker and Wayne Burt. We'll see with the upcoming off-season!
