Notes: "Smooth" Rob Storey was a stalwart at the Shortstop position for the Admirals for many years. When drafted he was the highest rated prospect in team history. Many people anticipated his debut in his age 21 season. For 16 seasons that Shortstop position was all his. He only made two All-Star games and received only one Gold Glove award but he was integral in helping the Admirals reach LL.III for the first time in history, and was rewarded with an All-Star nod that year. He retires as the only player in team history to play over 2200 games with 2406 played. He also retires 2nd in team history in hits, and doubles but also 1st in home runs, runs, RBIs, walks, and game MVP's.
