It would list the priority order from top to bottom with game conditions (run differential and inning, as well as energy). If the conditions are met, the top guy comes in. If not, the AI simply works its way down looking for the first pitcher that meets the criteria. The top pitcher would have a box that could be checked if desired to have a closer. If the game is in the inning specified by the owner, the current pitcher would be pulled exactly as he is now (not if there's a no hitter, which is also like it is currently). Here's roughly what it could look like: Pitcher...Run Differential...Earliest Inning...Pitch Count Dude closer...+3...+1...9...25 Simply set-up...+4...+1...7...20 Nail biter...+2...-2...7...25 Middle man...+5...-3...5...35 Killing it...+infinity...+3...1...50 Bombed rook...-3...-infinity...1...50 The fatigue and hook box settings would also be there for each pitcher. How does one number convey a range? Wouldn't you need something like -1 to +2 or something? Thanks, Steve |
