lmartins6746 Joined: 06/01/2021 Posts: 80 Asheville Craft Brewers IV.6	I wish we had an inning hook. My team has blown too many games where my starter takes a slim lead into the late innings. I can watch the play by play and tell myself..OK, time to take him out but haven't hit the PC or hook yet. It is frustrating going into the lake innings with lime a 2-0 lead and all you can is pray that he hits the pitch count because the hook won't save you. IRL, late inning with a small lead and a strong bullpen would have the pitcher pulled pre-emptively or on a very short leash (hook =0 or 1). An inning/run difference adjusted hook would be perfect but I'd be happy to just be able to say 'don't let this guy pitch past the 7th inning' And yes I can turn down the pitch count. I have done that with my more inconsistent pitchers, but that has lead to them getting pulled early while having success...like pitching just 3 or 4 innings. Similar the hook...adjusting that lower just means they are mirelijely to get pulled for early trouble
