We should have a decent team this year, lineup is basically the same and pitching should be improved by our youngsters, so we got hopes of promotion, after 2-3 years of avoiding relegation. The field will tell us if we're wrong or not.

SanKaloon Joined: 06/24/2023 Posts: 83 Lincoln Park Wolves V.6	Well the bats never really came through this season for our team, but our defense was good enough that we get to stay another year - which I'm happy about. I don't expect a lot of changes for next season, but hoping we can improve our offense at 1B and the OF, and maybe find some additional LHP in the offseason. We could use a good young catcher as well, but we've got one in the minors that may be good in the next few years. Congrats to Nantucket and Independence for moving on to the next level!!

Fireballer34 Joined: 05/31/2023 Posts: 122 Hollywood Velociraptors IV.3	Maybe I put the rookies in a bit too early… Once I determined we couldn’t win the division, due to my starting pitchers playing like crap, I made some cuts, as much as I loved Quintero he’s old and declining, his second half wasn’t good and I needed to get my AAA pitchers in somehow. Same with Kay, he’s never quite found the magic from those first 2 seasons again. I don’t think he can compete at this level. Nolan wasn’t needed, and Parry had to get some playing time, but so far he hasn’t shown that he deserved in. Dominquez playing solid. Finally am realizing that Bowie isn’t the lock at 3rd base, he hasn’t been hitting, so I’m hoping Dominquez can bring some pop to the hot corner. I’m just prepping for next year at this point, hopefully Oxnard can make it back up for next year.
