wuggla Joined: 05/10/2013 Posts: 1062 Colorado Springs Vultures V.14	i still can not know why they traded him to St. Lousie then they let him go in free agents to be grabbed by Chicago and what happens last night the best deffensive RF in baseball gets "DP" against his old team with Holliday on 3rd and Molina batting. the braves should have never let him go.

amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2259 New York Lancers IV.2	I can give you 184M reasons why they let him go, and perhaps a couple more: the Braves weren't contending and needed a rebuild, so trading Heyward got them much-needed prospects for his last year of team control, and they were never going to pay him anyway. He's a terrific fielder but for a guy his size he's never hit many homers, it was a win-win for Atlanta.
