| i understand that an LHS with management set to only face LH hitters exclusively has to stay in and face a RH hitter who pinch hits for the first batter the specialist will face. but after that, the pitching team should be able to comply with the management setting and replace him. in high leverage situations, you'll sometimes see three or four consecutive pinch hitters - it doesn't make sense to me that the defense has no way to respond to that. | ||
