So I wanted to get some rookies some innings in the bigs, guys with moderate to low stats. Couldn't guarantee they'd play any other way than starting them. I set them up for:

Starting Inning - 1
Pitch count - 20
Fatigue Limit " "
Hook - 2

I was trying to get a max of 3 innings, 2 preferred and if they got into any sort of trouble at all, give them the hook.

They seemed to ignore the pitch count and hook values, going 4-5 innings and getting pretty beat around. I don't think giving you game reports will work as you can't see what the results are. I think it should be replicable if you choose the min for pitch count, hook, etc.

I'll try it again tonight for my last game and see if I can replicate again, it might just be something I had set wrong.

Except for all-star games, the there is a minimum pitch count and hook of 75 pitches and 5 hook for starting pitchers.

This should be documented somewhere...but probably isn't. I will add it.

Thanks,

Steve

This is for starters, you mean? (75 hook for a LHS would be....odd).

Yes, for starting pitchers only.
