An error had occurred earlier in the inning but that batter was thrown out at 3rd later in the inning and never scored. 4 runs were scored that inning off 2 HRs and were given as unearned. | ||

AmUnRA Joined: 06/17/2012 Posts: 299 Inactive ![]() | A run is counted as unearned when when a baserunner scores after the third out would have been made except for an error in this case when reconstructing the inning without an error, the 2nd out would not have happened but something like this will be ignored. |

Roberts comes into score. Rosa draws a walk. Butler comes into pinch hit for Hampton. Butler strikes out. |

And then by the game engine's accounting, also makes the 3rd out being thrown out at 3rd base. But obviously he can't make the 1st and 3rd out. Steve |
