As i mentioned, i was changing my rotation to set up who i wanted to porch for the Cup games, so i can't say for sure which number all of my starters were showing. I do know, though, that Orozco was scheduled for the first one of the day and had the asterisk next to his name. It's strange enough that anyone else started, especially considering he had no fatigue, but it then overlooked two other starters who had no fatigue also (Hoffman and Atkins). I'm hoping it was just one extra strange anomaly.

Question-the asterisk indicates who is supposed to be starting, right?

It selected a non starter again for me on june 29th even though they were all fine. This time I saw it coming, though, because there was no asterisk on any of my starters. I messed with the rotation options, pitching order, anything I could think of, but nothing made the asterisk appear. I put my best long reliever into the only LR spot and thankfully it chose him. Still it was scary since relievers are needed so much in this part of the schedule. It didn't really do any damage this time; my hitters were the problems for that series.

The * disappearing is odd, but ill bet if you click the "reset to default" button it will pop back up, but you'll ha e to redo the entire staff.

Not sure what happened in my game 3 tonight, (besides getting my ass handed to me) but my LR started instead of my SP3 Kang. He was rested and unhurt, and the * still shows beside SP3 for game 4 so I've modified my rotation to hopefully kickstart it for next game, but it looks like it might be the same issue MukilteoMike had.

Edit: Everything looks back on track after game 4.

I noticed this too.

After game 2 the * didn't advance and Kelly was up for game 3 as well. Since he was fatigued from the previous game, an unassigned pitcher was used instead of him.

Hope this helps.

Ah ok. I didn't notice it stick on SP2. So the LR coming in to spot start game 3 was normal engine-wise, the real issue is why the game wanted my SP2 to start 2 in a row.

I like Kelly, but not that much.

Yeah...that's what happened, I'm just not sure why. Looking into it though...

There have been a few hiccups with the new rotations. Thunder Bay was using a 4-man rotation and the 5th starter spot was unassigned.

Yeah, but it wasn't on the transition from SP 4->5 or 4->1 or 5->1. It was a on 2->3.

I need to look at what's happening with the advancement of the starting pitcher function and not getting written correctly or something.

I was on a 5 man rotation at the time of the hiccup. I changed to a 4 man after, thinking that changing it up might get things back on track.
