| Granted, this "bug" has no significance whatsoever. Still, here it is... Bottom 9th: North Bergen Bell takes the mound to pitch. Russo flies out to left field. Cisneros draws a walk. Cano flies out to center field. Hines hits a single to right field. Cisneros advances to third base. Edwards comes in to pitch. West comes in to pinch hit for Ross. West hits a double to left field. Cisneros comes in to score. Hines is thrown out at the plate by the left fielder Gray. Shawnee 6, North Bergen 7 It's the bottom of the ninth in a tie score and a runner on third (and first). It says West hits a double, but the only way that can happen is if it is a ground rule double because the winning run comes in from third. This clearly isn't the case, however, because it then states the other runner is thrown out at the plate, which also can't happen because the game is over when the guy from third scores. In case you need/want to check out the game, it's my 9/10/19 game. |
