These are the latest near-term development goals:

1. Change schedule page default display to show snapshot of schedule (ie. -5 to +5 days), rather than the whole season.

2. Implement Bot player acquisition and promotion logic

3. Fix scheduling for final cup rounds (rd. 9 and 10)

4. Minimum pitch count and hook for starting pitchers

Those items above are all complete, we're moving on to these now (mostly game engine updates):

1. Implement fan mode & prestige (precursor to real game attendance and economy)

2. Game Engine - Ballpark and Weather effects

3. Game Engine - add clutch hitting and pitching

Okay, those four things are implemented, but the economy & free agency is still not even crawling. Additionally, we added the server clock which will help many of our players not in the Pacific Time Zone.

In terms of team and game economies, it’s not really balanced – so expect cash flow to be negative. At some point we’ll need to reset cash when a balanced economy is completely implemented.

As for free agency, the search is working, but I must still design and implement the signing aspect of the game. Initially you’ll probably been allowed to sign players immediately or perhaps one per week. However, ultimately there will need to be a waiver period so that players can’t be simply transferred from one team to another via a release and sign scheme.

So next up on the docket our:

1. Free agent signing

2. Economy balancing

Thanks for playing...

Free agency is up and working. In addition, we’ve added transfer logging to follow player movement.

Been working on the economic model, but it’s probably going to take several iterations before we have a reasonable economy.

Okay, going into Season #5, I'd like to change a couple of things in the game engine:

1. Improved pinch hitting/player substitution logic.

2. Expanded bullpen size and roles.

After than, I think we'll focus on improving the easy of use of the lineup tool.
