| Queue the memes! Okay, he's not really a catcher but he's gonna play there for now and see if his Arm pops (this is also why you don't go catcher pool in round 1, but that's another matter). Nice to get another decent prospect and a very good pot in rd3. And damned if I didn't also have a decent prospect named Buck O'Neill, almost drafted him on that alone. |

Not a bad "little" prospect aside from that whole slow development thing. | Agonized over my pick more than I should have. A great/decent is a nice find in round 3. But he hits the ball on the ground alot, and isn't awesome defensively. We were tempted by a couple possible over-achievers. Were rewarded with 2 dingers first appearances in minor league.  |

| In the 3rd Round of the draft, the Beverly Hills Patriots selected Rodger Wright. He's a 2nd Baseman, but I think that he has the measurables to become a star on our team pretty soon!! | ||

| Pleased with the third round. I took Jim Stauffer who is a 20yo OF. 80/14 and very good potential. Good hitter and decent slugger with 14 range and 15 arm, so I may play him some as a C as a backup position. I also liked that he was a flyball hitter, so hopefully he hits some HR. Should at least be a decent platoon player, but hopefully he develops enough to play full time. | ||
