He is easily the best player ever to play for me, and I'd argue one of the best to ever play the game. What's even crazier is he was drafted in the 7th round of the 2041 drafts. In 10 full seasons he received the following accolades: 4x MVP, 8x All-Star, 8x All-League, Rookie of the Year, 7x Panama NT Selection, 1x Gold Glove Games 1565, AVE .298, OBP .332, SLG .539, OPS .871, H 1974, 2B 588, 3B 88, HR 276, RBI 1160, SB 274 Had to give him a shoutout and was wondering what other low round draft picks out there have turned out to be superstars? http://brokenbat.org/player/200101 |

I present 4x cy young winner Theo Smiley https://brokenbat.org/player/210017 The pick before him also is still on the team. Duane Polk. Hasn't ever been amazing but he is a solid 4-5 SP guy. |

Ended up with ROTY, 2 All-Stars, 2 LL in RBI, 400+ 2B, 250+ HR, 1000+ RBI. To go way back, 2031 I got Mel Glover in the 5th Round. As a SS he was great for me. He had 3 seasons of 30/30, 3 All-Stars, an All-League, a couple of GG's and was over 1000 R, 1000 RBI, 500 2B, 250 HR and 500 SB. |

Career: .265/.308/.451/.759 with 1x all-star, 1x all-league. https://brokenbat.org/player/237706 Started out as a 13 pot, didn't think he'd ever have a role with the team, sometimes still inconsistent but a solid bat/strong fielder for us. The 41' draft sure was stacked. |

One of the highest si players I've pulled, too bad he's never gotten an all-league but easily one of the more reliable players for us. https://brokenbat.org/player/222381 2041 - Round 8 - strong power hitting lefty. Had 4 strong seasons. 2x all-star, 1x gold glove 1st baseman. .257avg/.341obp/.491slg/.832ops Pretty good grab's for round 8 picks! |
