As my former ace, Theo Smiley is in his age 35 season. I am hoping to get a another year or two of good baseball out of him. This got me thinking, have we seen many pitchers with continued success past their 35+ seasons? Such as Nolan Ryan, Zach Greinke, Verlander, Kershaw, etc. Would love to see your ageless wonders, possibly even batters.

I've seen a couple guys like that. I'm too quick to cut guys to see it on my own team. I bet Mark "Baby Face" Bearden could have gone another season.

I had a closer Rodney Kelly who was dominant through his age 35-37 seasons. It's really rare for me to roster any pitcher that old, though.

Smiley is still worth it IMO. Doubt he's going to win any more Cy Youngs but he could still be good this year. Even next year I wouldn't be surprised if he had a couple more seasons of SP4-5/SS production. I could be wrong, declines can be rapid.
