I think some people have seen POT change both directions on the same player. However certainly not a good sign if you were hoping that guy might be a POT 12 or 13.

However, if you have room for a project, his 'atrocious fielder' comment means we won't get many more points (if any) in his fielding. His range is capped at 8 and his arm capped at 6 so ALL of his improvement will go to his batting skills. Would be fun to keep him around and see
