JV-Tosshin Joined: 11/11/2020 Posts: 297 Biloxi Thresher Sharks V.15	I always get a bit downcast when I have to let go a player who was at my team for a long time, but who I'm not sure will go into the team HoF, so thought I'd give him a little tribute here instead. Dropped my aging, low-hitting, defensive SS today. He was slumping towards a bad average, even for him, and the Home Runs weren't coming anymore. A slightly better, cheaper, younger free agent left him vulnerable, so he had to go. I'll miss you, Raúl. You came in when I got this team, in my first season, knowing nothing of how to make things work, and you gave me some defense at last. 5 seasons of 30+ double plays, 4 seasons of 50+ double plays. You did your work. So long and thanks for all the fish.
