| We have 3 World Classic people so now I have a bunch of teams to root for Castenada is repressing Chile, who almost certainly won’t make it out of Round 1, as their pitching is almost nonexistent. De Smet is still the best pitcher for the Netherlands, but he doesn’t stand a chance in game 1, where he gets to face a 130 SI pitcher. He could’ve hung in there many moons ago but no more. Bähr probably has a better shot of doing well than De Smet, but if he is only able to post a 4.45 ERA versus VI.30 competition, he won’t survive Aruba’s players. |

| South Korea is really struggling with Curaçao  BTW, is it normal that guys don't collect World Classic stats during the World Classic? None of my guys are showing 2053 World Classic stats yet. Do they only show up after the World Classic is completed? I hadn't noticed that before... |

| how are berths in the tournament determined? are there automatic qualifiers (USA, Japan, Cuba etc) and play-in qualifiers (Argentina, New Zealand, Israel)? why i ask is i had one player selected for the Argentina national team, but i did not see Argentina in any round of the tourney. |

| power index or minimum number of players sound like reasonable qualifiers...it's a single elimination tournament i believe, thus the total entrants are a power of two (32)...the power index may be why Argentina had a full team but was not in the field of 32 Updated Wednesday, December 8 2021 @ 8:19:54 pm PST |
