Had a decent 12 pot starting pitching prospect but ultimately went with Brennan, 14 pot very good hitter with very good potential wins every time.

Can you really trust a guy with 2 first names?

Seems half decent for a 17 year old. I think I have been able to add some talent through draft but not anybody exciting. Hoping he hits and is part of the future at 3B.

Caruso was the obviously choice. Not bad for Round 3, hopefully he develops well.

Zach, I really like Hughes. I think he's a risk to be a less than 15 POT, but he can still turn out to be a solid player because he has the defensive build to stick at SS (or CF or wherever you need him, really). In addition, he hits enough fly balls that the power should translate into actual HR. This means his offense at a premium defensive position is likely to be acceptable, even without a hitting comment.

If he is real POT 15 (treat this as a long shot possibility until proven otherwise), then I think he's a decent bet to beat his scouting report in hitting and/or fielding, which makes him look even better.

The biggest downside risk looks like his bat control. If his bat control is low and he really has a "no hitting comment" skill, then he may turn out to be a disappointing offensive player because he may hit below the Mendoza line while whiffing too much to really make the power play. Even then, he's got the defensive chops to be a solid bench player, though.

Went with Ken Osbourne. Given his atrocious range and arm, plus his below average fielder comment, he could become a pretty decent DH if his other skills compensate for his lack of defense.

Found a guy in round 3 with 14 pot so I pulled the trigger. http://brokenbat.org/player/296896/U

Only 17 years old, so he definitely has time and room to improve, but was a very light hitter in the amateur ranks.

Last week, I went for pitchers. Wasn't a big fan of my pool, but I liked the one I chose. Personally, I like the lower FRA numbers he has, but let me know what you think of this pick.
