For me, my MR Juan Pablo Cordero was 11-1 before today. A rookie with a 3.82 ERA and a 1.387 WHIP.

So contrasted with Felder.

SP - Felder 2-8, 3.52 ERA, 1.266 WHIP

MR - Cordero 11-1, 3.82 ERA, 1.387 WHIP

My developing pitchers are on lower pitch counts, so rarely make it 5 innings even if I happen to have a lead if they do. So rotation is 11-44.

Also, not sure if this game goes by regular baseball win rules. Meaning if your guy gets down 2-0, the opponent doesnt relinquish the lead and you lose 3-2, starter still gets the loss.

Let me link you to Brown's ridiculous 2042 season from the pen. Didn't change any setting from the other years, but 155 IP, and a 17-6 record as an All-Star.

Cordero hasn't been up all season. At 11-2 with 45 games under his belt, I think he might be able to give Brown a run for his money ;)

I thought about making Jevon a starter, but I think I prefer him in this role. If uou look, he has only around 30 less innings than my starters. This way he gets a heavy workload while not having to pitch multiple times through the order. Its a tactic I employed with many players, such as these two:

can i ask if you're getting him to only come out for an inning or two at a time by setting a low pitch count or by only having him come out in late innings? both?

sometimes my setup guys bail out my starters and go for 5 or more so i'm curious as to how you're achieving that.

Sounds like you have a pretty high pitch count set on your sets. I would cut it in half. Your Sets shouldn't really ever go more than a couple innings, otherwise they won't be available to pitch very often. Also, its typical to have your Sets come in around the 7th or 8th inning. Sounds like you have them coming in too early. As a generally guide I would normally have:

LR - 1st inning
MR - 5th inning
Sets - 7th/8th inning
Closer - 8th/9th inning

Similar to Frodo, but Dawgs' starts come with a price ... no LR will come in until the top of the 3rd (unless Doug "The Mad Scientist" Reid misses a setting ... he is getting to that age)
