We left a POT 15 guy on the board because he'd always be a poor fielder, and had uninteresting stats. Went with David Armstrong instead. He looks very promising already, and he'll be a solid SS/2B option in the not so distant future!

Edit: Actually, I think I'll train him immediately as a 2B. We'll need one on the lineup in the next few years, and we already have Daniel Gage who's shaping up to be our future SS already.

Got good lefty outfielder again. Did not need another.
The rest was not worthy of being in draft board.

2 "good" potentials that couldn't hit and couldn't field. Drafts are so fun these days

I'll take it. To bad the range didn't match the speed, but I think he has a decent chance at really being a POT 13 and even if he doesnt, his amateur stats are good and his scouting report is great.

Not sure I expect this guy to stay at pot 14, but it's not a bad find for the third

After mediocre round 1 and 2 picks, we got the best pick of round three, and now a top 100 global prospect.

Viera was the only remotely viable prospect on the board this round. Great amateur stats, but is going to need to significantly outperform his scouting report to make it. Definitely a short leash prospect.

By far our best board this year.

- An Above Average POT 13 3B (Good Hitter, Prolific Slugger)
- A Very Good POT 12 OF (Prolific Slugger)
- A Good POT 10 OF (Very Good Hitter, Decent Slugger)

The Good POT 10 was the most tempting, but given our on-going Bart Noble experiment, I decided I didn't need more test subjects.

An interesting if frustrating board for NY. Two best pitchers had control issues. Best pure hit comments were above average pots, best slugger was an amazing fielding lefty, which left Sakamoto - a decent hitter but amazing glove pure 1B type.

Not a lot to shout about in the end - if you could cherry pick the best parts might have had a really good player (or two)!
