Sure, I'll give props to the opponents, because they've scored 68 runs in the last 3 games they played (!!!), but I can't see how the team they field is THAT much better, tbh. At least its not my starters who're starting out like this. My LR has been giving up 6 run innings a lot, but eh... He's a bit of a squandered potential, that guy. And at least he ain't got a spring ERA of 17 even after three starts. One of my rookie pitchers does. |

Some players were total garbage and then all of a sudden got very hot. My top minor league NP prospect, A Ball McCann, has however hit 6 home runs this Spring. Which is good news since he has no hitting comment (but began at Hitting 9 or 10). A Ball Goodson played in every game at 1B and hit .309 with 3 HR 16 RBI (and committed 7 errors xD) Half of my lineup was A-AA players. Overall 4.7 Runs per game, .271, 1K/5.79 AB 1BB/20.59AB, grounded into 12 DP, committed 45 errors. More importantly, they averaged 37 AB per game, which was the only goal. Some low minors pitchers have done pretty well, considering. Take away that horrible 154 pitch performance (with a stamina of 5), because my fatigue and innings settings kept the AI from bringing someone else in, and Roldan has 11 2/3 IP, 9 Hits, 2 ER, 6 BB, 8K, 0 HR. Staff overall gave up 6.56 Runs per game, so time will tell if my pitching will be any better this season. New call-ups Lagos and O'Neill have had strong springs. Between them 44 IP, 34 Hits, 10 ER, 14 BB, 35 K. And only 1 HR allowed. New waiver claims Lujan, San Nicolas and the pitching horribly Higgins, are headed to the minors after next training update. I went 6-6 by playing a few major league outfielders at first, just to see what my starting lineup should be, and then once I switched to my two minor lineups, I've gone 3-15 since then. Also had myself a 10-game losing streak in the middle of it. It is what it is. Happens when you play a lot of pitchers who dunno what they're doing yet. |
