I believe high GB/FB pitchers do best in small parks. Just like low GB/FB hitters.

You also need less range in a small park ;)

Less range? Are 1B and 3B closer together in small parks?

Menard may have trouble getting on the field due to his walk rate. Dinos got a surprisingly good game out of Rafferty in his first big league start. Might have solved the 5th starter problem internally.

Toys with the idea of a gigantic park and an every-lineup OF of LF Arriaga (14-18-7), CF Shockley (20-18-17), RF Murillo (8-17-12)...both Shockley and Murillo are S who are not a major liability against RHP or LHP. Arriaga is L with a hit tool of 19...

I was the loser on Roque. Would have loved to have got him - due to a lack of success in the draft most of my pitching in the minors is just long-shot fliers, he would've fit in very well and probably been better than what I have.

It always seems like I (unlikely to break 50 wins again) am always competing with the big-time teams on the waivers...why on earth would the giants astride Olympus with their murderous hitting and pitching need the castoffs? I was the other claimant on Robbie Lunde (won by Boulder)

Because winning teams are built by smart acquisition of cast-offs. You can't just rely on draft luck.

I haven't dipped down into the POT 11 pool for quite some time, but Roque looks really good.

I now have 16 players remaining of my original team, majors or minors. 34 have been acquired through waivers or free agency.

That’s a lot. I have many, many, many fewer

Original Players From ‘47: 3 (It’s hard to beleive Solis was considered a young phenom back then, when he was 24. Now he’s 28. McGee was acquired in ‘47)
Acquired Through Draft: 6

Well I basically have been in charge about a season and a half. The team I inherited was good enough to promote from L6 the season before I got the team but was getting/got absolutely slaughtered in L5. So I knew I couldnt just patch a few holes but had to tear down most of the team. I didnt expect it to be a quick and easy process and its not.

Congrats to the Moo Cows on claiming Komiyama. He was the 3rd guy I tried to get along with Lunde and Roque.
