| So I spent the weekend poking at the past six seasons worth of DFB games, and just finished up adding in 2045’s results to the mix. A few important things to note: » I ain’t perfect. My data entry might have a few minor errors here and there, but I’ve made sure it’s not much more than maybe an extra double to center and a run scored for the opposition or some such. It’ll be close enough. » Outs recorded include double plays. » There were exactly zero instances of a hit and run being executed with two outs over the first three seasons, unless they were happening and the engine didn’t describe them as such. I stopped actually checking for outs at that point. Anyhoo. Here’s the results. Go nuts with it, y’all! If anybody wants clarification anywhere, gimme a poke.  |
