I just noticed Irizarry on my squad has 1 walk in his last 199 at bats. That's awesome. Then I looked at his career stats with more than 1500 at bats:

52 HR, 37 BB.

1.4 homers for every walk.

Can anyone top those nutty numbers?

Not as extreme as Rafi's numbers but my HoF'er Marty Bruno finished his career at 1.3 homers per every walk.

His ratio isn't quite as high as my guy, but I think yours is more impressive due to the massive numbers. 2034 is fantastic! 20 more homers than walks! LMAO!

I win...

Or lose... He is my favorite and least favorite player of all-time in Broken Bat:

354 career HRs and 111 BBs... 56 HBPs.
For most of his career, he also had more CAUGHT STEALINGS than BBs.

One of my current players qualifies for this discussion.

Sports a 2.06 HR:BB ratio -- 339 HRs to 164 walks

Also bizzare, he has a 0.8 HR to strike out ratio: 339 HRs to 426 Ks

Those guys are hysterical! Moran has two seasons where BB + 29 = HR, which is outrageous. And just wow to Fennell. Five consecutive seasons of 41+ HR and 28- BB. Gotta' love it! Fennell, by the way, has a shot to make the all-time leaderboard in homers if he can continue crunching for three more seasons. Moran is 24th for active players.

Oh, man. First on the all-time and active list for homers is 43 year-old Mercado of Appleton. He has 660 at the moment. Retire him now to match Say Hey!
