El jefe Joined: 04/21/2017 Posts: 223 Urbana Cubs II.1	Whenever my starting C is taken out of the game, the backup I have designated on my lineup card is never put in. Instead, it's the other catcher on my roster. What gives?

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	The player you list as a backup on the lineup page only applies to injuries. If a player is injured when the game starts, it puts in the backup you have selected.

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	No, they're not random. The AI has calculations to determine them, but you can't control it. It's one of the maddening things about BB. There are several similar threads of frustration, including one over the last couple days. Check out the one about the Inexplicable Pinch Hitter. This is a common problem.
