Lefty Swede pitcher to help out his country during the World Classic. He'll play a few minor league games, and then will be cut.

I also had a 6 POT pitcher show up. Denvy's Draft War Room is slipping!

I should have pulled the link but didn't think to but how is it that there is a pot 10 guy and pot 12 guy that are the same age and the 10 has way higher skill points already out. Is it just a scenario where his projected growth is non existent and the other guys isn't or is there more to it than that?

First four rounds were very kind to me, but hot garbage the last two...I'll take it.

Another catch and release round for me. Round one is my only keeper and I probably shouldn’t have.

Lucky finds like this are the reason you keep drafting in the late rounds. Not sure he'll hit the pot14 cap, but definitely a guy worth keeping around. It's been a pretty solid draft for us at Strongsville this season.

My guy feels like a late round / off the board sort of pick.

I had a guy like him last week too. Low pot, very limited amateur data, but good written scouting. He's intriguing. If he could blip to 12 potential might really have something. Even if he stays 11 he might be ok.

16 year old and into A ball. Safe to say rookie ball has been grandfathered out?

Seems like it. I've been leaving my guys on the board. Especially the young guys. If there is no chance of my keeping them, I figure its better to let them develop (in case they get better in the future). I did C&R a 23 year old in the 3rd round because it seemed like there was no chance he would ever be a good player.

Interesting idea: if all you get is a bunch of bad options pick the Worst older apple to toss out. Maybe the younger ones will age well.

I'll follow that theory. I am tired of the alert telling me I can draft.
