MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	I couldn't find the thread where people were talking about one side being so much better than the other, so I'm making my own. Here is the WPCT for the West in games against the East in each level for last season (I didn't do VI since there are so many bots). I doubt there's as much difference as some of the posters thought: Legends 49.4% II 48.3% III 49.3% IV 46.9% V 49.3% There isn't much difference other than in IV, but the East won every level by a small margin. I think this shows they were looking too closely to their individual case and not the site as a whole. If I think about it, I'll try to do this towards the end of each season.

Geech Joined: 01/12/2014 Posts: 545 San Luis Obispo Turtles IV.8	IV.6 has had an extreme disparity in favor of East the past couple seasons, to the tune of .580+ win percentages. This season seems a lot more even so far, but I haven't crunched the numbers yet.

Hayseed Joined: 02/20/2018 Posts: 290 Hood River Hawks IV.1	Now that Inter-league is done IV.1 ended with the West crushing with 56 games over and a run Diff of 272 (to -272 obviously). The East does have one team (their leader with a positive run DIFF, but just +5), which is the East's only team with a winning record (a .527 win %). The West WPCT for each level is: Legends 51.1% II 46.0% III 49.4% IV 50.5% V 48.1% Again, not much difference. Remember that each level has more teams in it than all the others above them combined. I didn't put the combined WPCT in the post for '42. I'll do so here 2043 West's WPCT vs the East = 48.9% 2042 West's WPCT vs the East = 48.6%

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	Here are the breakdowns for the West's WPCT vs. the East this season ('44): Legends 43.6% II 46.4% III 46.0% IV 47.6% V 50.2% Legends thru V (combined) 48.6% I don't do VI because there are so many bot teams. The numbers are a little misleading because Legends West got trounced. They're only one league out of the 31 calculated, though, so their far-from-the-norm number makes things look more lopsided than they really are.

MukilteoMike Joined: 08/09/2014 Posts: 3294 Inactive	This season was much like the others in terms of the top 31 leagues with the East outperforming the West by a small margin. The WPCT for West teams: Legends 48.9% II 47.9% III 50.1% IV 48.8% V 48.2% Combined for I thru V: 48.6%
