Third person to not realize there's a link. I look and realize I only have one prospect (Hubbard) on the list. That really makes me realize how bad our farm system is.

Four players on the list gives me hope we can finally make it up to LLIV.

After training update#6. Some players that were appearing on the top100/full list are now ineligible because they have reached 2 seasons worth of experience in the majors.

Got the #8 update done. Wasn’t liking the results favouring pitchers over hitters the past two updates, it seemed to me that it was skewed, so last night I tinkered with the formula and adjusted it to try to balance it more (based on what I consider similar skill set). I also introduced two new rankings, the Prospect Ranking Points Offense (PRPO) and the Prospect Ranking Points for Defense (PRPD), these can be found in the Full List. The new formulas are bellow.

Formula for Position Players: HIT*1.2+BC*1.2+PD*1.2+POW*1.2+SPD+FLD*1.2+RNG*1.2+ARM-AGE+POT*7

Formula for Pitchers:
VEL*2.1+COS*2.1+MOV*2.1+CON*2.1+STA*0.2+FLD*0.2-AGE+POT*7

Formula for PRPO
HIT*1.2+BC*1.2+PD*1.2+POW*1.2+SPD

Formula for PRPD
FLD*1.2+RNG*1.2+ARM

Prospect #74 got his first all star nod in his rookie season! It remains to be seen if he can receive ROY honors though.

Forgot to mentioned that I was able to add the weekly gains in Prospect Ranking Points, shown under PRP Gains.

This gives us a picture of the gains each player has per week. This week biggest improvements were...

Rene Beckett - JC with a +8.8 gain - Ranked 620th
Victor Quick - WLT with a 8.4 gain - Ranked 117th
Toshiya Miura - BWD with a 6.8 gain - Ranked 13th

NOTE: New players that show on the list have no comparison data, so they show as "NEW" under PRP Gains.

Sadly, Blaine "on the Train" Kelly should probably be closer to 87 than 1

Counterpoint to that formula ... I'm downgrading him for the low glove cap and resistance to learning "The Flyin Hawaiian" skills.

(Before someone else says it ... yes, KC is not in Hawaii. That guy earned that nickname ... involved a dad in the Air Force, Kaniela "Kahuna" Keahi,
"Barefoot" Cary Jernigan, a tiki idol from the brady bunch, a couple offseason surfing trips ... )
