Yep. I would have kept him and Gonzalez from last season's title-winning team if not for the fact that I (1) had two prospects overdue for promotion, and (2) had team salary rise by $10M. I'm not going bankrupt any time soon but cutting Baird and Gonzalez took nearly all of that $10M ($9.8M) off the books and let the young guys (and their growing pains) in. |

Despite that, we always seem to eventually end up going back to Peterson. Which would explain why he's 4th on the all-time saves list. If my current closer gets whacked at the flip, he'll probably be doing it again. Unless he, too gets whacked. | ||
