I have two players on my team I would like to present as evidence that form is determined solely by batting average.

Julian Gonzalez is a veteran 3B who's been a bit slow this season. However, he is now listed as HOT. His slash line that form takes into account (when you hover over the form) is:

.302/.380/.326 over 43 AB. He has only 1 XBH over that period.

Now, Nicolas Zelaya is a budding superstar centerfielder who's having a great season. He is listed as AVERAGE form.

His slash line when you hover over the form is:
.286/.400/.786 over 42 AB. He even has 6 HR.

Zelaya has been significantly better, and it's not even close. However, Gonzalez is hot? The only thing Gonzalez is better at is average, therefore I'm assuming that average is the only thing that matters.

Just an interesting note.

Correct. Form is just based on recent BA.
