Does anyone know how to predict a player's SI based on their POT?

If you multiply the POT by 8.3333, you'll end up with a number in the middle of the SI range he'll reach if he develops properly.

Generally:-

11 POT: 86-95 SI
12 POT: 96-103
13 POT: 104-111
14 POT: 112-119
15 POT: 120-127
16 POT: 128-135
17 POT: 126-143

You shouldn't be playing anyone under 11 POT, and I don't believe there's been an 18 POT player (yet).

Do I remember that Steve recently announced that Potential will be fuzzier than it used to be for players drafted from now on?

To what extent fuzzier?

Wherefore art thou fuzzy?

it's been implemented midway through season 2040.
At some point, you may remember, a lot of people started posting about their former 2040 draft picks changing potential (usually for the better).

By my observation on players I drafted, potential can be +/- 2 from the real one.

no idea if the real potential will ever be revealed/corrected/adjusted or if the player will show the same potential regardless of his SI level.

For sure we need to get used to a lot more over- and underscouted players overall
