Broken Bat Baseball
My teams pitching hasn't been too shabby (the team is averaging 3.68 ERA), but the batters have been faltering a bit so far. Despite this my team's still tied for 1st in the division, think it's fair to say that my team's had a bit of luck on their side so far...

Anyone else here had a lucky start to the season? Also, any suggestions as to how I can improve my teams batting average?

you need more left handed hitting and better hitters in general. You have almost no left handed hitters developing in your minor league system so you're going to continue to have this problem in seasons to come.

The problem is that only 12% of people in the world are left handed :P.

I'll try to find another good lefty hit to put my team over the top, but in the meantime my team just had a great series to get to 33-22 and boost the season batting average to .241, plus the team is drawing a lot of walks compared to the opposition.
