Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5201 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends	Paulsen: UP Signed as a FA last season, hope is a vs. LHP 1B. Been on chopping block b/c swing doesn't leverage power. Also concerns about RISP. Have seen a lot of good pitching this spring, and Paulson has continued to mash lefties. Better RISP. Butcher at 1B tho. Gomez: UP Dinos big waiver win last season. Dream is a threatening middle of the order LHB. Leads the team in spring HRs with 5 despite suffering a really unfortunate injury that cost him a dozen games. Lafferty: UP A small claim waiver win last season, seen as a defensive specialist in CF with a (hopefully) playable bat. Been on the bubble b/c a defensive specialist with atrocious fielding just seems wrong. Hasn't shown much with the bat this spring, but his defensive work in CF has been stellar, including 4 OA in the first 20 games. Hastings: DOWN Free agent signing last season, bullpen lefty. Had a wonderful season at AA last year that moved him up the depth chart. Has actually had a good spring - aside from 1 horrific series (3G, 1.2IP, 5ER, 3HR). That one disastrous series has him back on the chopping block.
