Was thinking I'd likely be kicking myself for taking an OF, when I really need arms - but hate taking control issue guys. Worked out very well, though he'll probably need a long time in the minors to develop considering the starting #'s: http://brokenbat.org/player/176544 |

But here’s the thing, I already have a young prospect catcher in Ortega and a young prospect 3B in Tackett. How should I position this latest draft pick? Should I move him to C/3B and force on of the others to play elsewhere? |

While he doesn't have optimal range, he could be a usable shortstop if you have need at that position, or potentially a 2B. Honestly he could probably play any of the infield positions (he'd be wasted at 1B though). Looks like a good problem to have. | ||

I would have probably settled for a "good" potential hitter with some good skills but instead I'm stuck with a 14 potential lefty pitcher. I mostly steer away from lefty pitchers but we'll see how Barney turns out. The name doesn't give me much confidence. http://brokenbat.org/player/176579 |
