Holmes Joined: 11/07/2013 Posts: 1175 Inactive	My respect and thanks to Ced for a worthy cup final. 4 innings of free baseball in the rubber game after a shutout loss and a one-run game to tie the series. And in the end it once again came down to the strength of the bullpens. Denver's Robles might actually be a tad better than Clark, but he couldn't provide the same length, and Sargeant is definitely not a guy I would put in a setup role. But, man, getting 7.1 innings of one-hit ball from a guy way down in my bullpen pecking order sure smells like a lot of plain old luck, too. Time to go to bed on this side of the pond. I'll do it with a smile.

Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5199 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends	Grats to both finalists! Feel that big purple trophy is the toughest achievement in BrokenBat. Holmes may not have enjoyed the entertainment value, but it was great for the rest of us. I really liked the Wynn signing. Dinos might have contested if we had a little more to play for this season. He didn't deliver any of the big blows, but quietly had a nice series.
