amalric7 Joined: 01/20/2016 Posts: 2237 New York Lancers V.4	It's the pyramid system Broken Bat is built on. Each League has two divisions. In Legends: one team is the overall BB champ, two teams do down from each division. In Leagues 2-5: One team goes up from each division, two teams go down. In League 6: both division champs go up, everyone else counts their toes. If you expanded promotions, you'd have to expand demotions too, which means as it currently stands everyone would either promote or demote. So you'd have to alter the size of the divisions (expand to 12 teams, or similar) to change promotions. This setup works very well, and with three second places in my nine seasons here I can only empathise with you!
