Wheaton beat me, 3 touchdowns to 2, but I managed a two point conversion.

Holy crap, that is ridiculous even for spring training. Both teams scoring just under 10 runs in the same inning.

People can create new topics whenever they like... There is no obligation to post into threads you created. And really no reason to create a thread simply as a place holder for other people to post... First post in a thread should really always have content.

I can empathize with ESac's sentiment though. It used to drive me nuts when there would be two weekly draft pick threads, well it still does, I just don't bother commenting on it.

I don't really empathize with creating a thread "all thing spring training" during spring training, and expecting everyone to post everything in your thread.

Wickersty wanted to post about his crazy game. Shouldn't be expected to post it into obscurity in an older thread few people are following. That thread is really too broad. Not like the weekly draft threads.

If the thread was "Spring Training Football scores", that would be a little different. But the non-descriptive "Spring Training Things" thread has posts like "My team isn't doing too bad", "Still doing ok", etc. Its all over the place, so I can't blame anyone for thinking their post doesn't belong there.

Is it just me, or there's an unusual high number of Strike Outs nowadays?

I've had a 17-K game, and many more 9+
