newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive | The minor league games are randomly assembled, and players can play multiple games in a day (as evidenced by the guys who have more than one game played after the first day). Thus he just got called on to play a lot. Steve has verified that it doesn't affect their training if they don't play, and injuries can't occur in minor league games, so it really doesn't matter. If you combine league and cup innings, pitchers pitch over 300 innings all the time in Broken Bat. Pretty cool find. Would love to be able to search minor league stats. |
