Given a chance, what would you do with this player? Player, not pitcher.

Pass or play? Where? What role?

I would play him at 2B as a starter.

I'd probably try him at SS if his performance was decent. I doubt I would keep him for any other role. Guys with low BC and PD tend to have horrible OPS.

He's very similar to my SS, problem is my guy can'[t hit RHP to save himself. I'd give him a shot at SS or 2B (providing he throws righty!)

Depends on the makeup of your team and his development (what positions, potential, how much he has left to gain), but I would put him in at shortstop. Second if he struggled defensively

Middle infielder if not left-handed. Hitting and power guys tend to be a force in the lineup, strikeout or homerun type of player.

Only a few of those high hitting, high power guys end up being Mark McGwire types. Half of them end up hitting 5-6 HRs a year in the upper leagues. Never mind that this guy only has 15 power, which is not very high.

Here is a guy with similar power and hitting (and 18 BC and 15 PD). Now imagine you take away half his BC and PD so he strikes out 10 times more than walking...

If he didn't work out as a SS, I couldn't imagine keeping a guy like that on my roster. You can find better hitters for 2B.

In my team he would be a backup 2B/SS at best. Probably wouldn't even make the squad. 7-7 BC/PD combo looks quite...unattractive.

Well then maybe I just got lucky with those two. I admit they are a bit better than 7-7 in BC and PD and have 19 power, but they've proven capable of hitting the ball out of the park on every league level.
