I'm thinking to release Charlie Fischer . He has a lot of defensive potential, but horrible offensive potential. He has hit under .200 all season and hasn't met my defensive predictions. I thought he was going to have about 4-5 errors this year, but made 4 errors in the first couple weeks of the season.

I have found a 3B that I've bookmarked so I can place a claim for him once waivers opens up.

Should I release him because of his lack of offensive production or keep him due to defense and suck up his lack of offensive production?

Dunno that i'd cut him, but i don't think i could stomach starting him daily. I'd diminish his role beyond one that gets him 450 AB's.

i wouldnt cut him but i would platoon him, and have him sub in as a pinch runner or defensively and still get him enough abs so he can progress

I'd cut him if you have a better option at 3B. That guy is never going to be a hitter.

I've got him bookmarked if you decide to release him.

I'd cut him. CIs that can't hit are of no value to me.
