newtman Joined: 11/02/2013 Posts: 3343 Inactive | Minor league players get recommended for moving up, with the "He might have learned all he can at this level of competition" tag. You have to reassign him to the new level yourself though from the assignment page which can be found as a button at the bottom of the minors page. As for how often they move up, it depends on the player, some progress faster than others, but generally the ideal player will get recommended for promotion every two seasons or less, and will be recommended for the majors before age 25. You could/should sign a few more, get rid of the 11 POT guys or players with average (or worse) reports, make sure you train guys at positions that suit their skills not their listed position(s). Burton for instance will make a decent 3B but a poor SS (no Range). Hearn will make a good SS, but Lockhart should be playing OF. Rizzo is a cut. And so on. | ||
