I just noticed that Retired players are showing where they maxed to rather then their dwindled final ratings. Was that part of the historic changes that Steve made?

EDIT: Actually, its not even best year... Pretty cool to see the player's true maxes.

Yeah, that change was made during the 2018 season or so iirc. It is nice.

Yes, I think most people want to remember players as there were, not what their skills would be like at age 55 or something.

This works fine.
The best a player was at his prime.
104SI/12POT age 30 not 44SI/13POT age 42
When he Retired.
Just making sure if you own aplayer till age 35;
when you realease him he is retired correct.

All players retire at the end of their age 35 season if not on a team. All players released after age 35 retire immediately. A player will NOT retire until released, and therefore could play into their 100s if never released. A couple guys are well on their way to this (in their mid to late 40s).
