I doubt he cares what it's short for... he just wants to be able to use New Era Caps :p

I did go with one punny name:

Rookie: Lawndale Green Machine

Not the best, but I went with local affiliates in the area I'm from.

Haselrig did a great job compiling a list of small towns. If there are missing towns that you think warrant consideration (and that you'd like to use), please PM me.

Note that the towns are all supposed to be immensely sparse in population, insomuch as my hometown with a general pop of ~7k was too big. It was the first time I had ever heard that about it.

So you want Caps -- as in short for Iron Caps or short for Capitals?

Technically, neither, but I figure most would use it as short for Capitals. I mainly found it funny that this little town in Michigan happened to have the same name as the folks who make MLB's on-field caps.

Could Rattlesnakes and Coral Snakes be added? When added to the other two already available, all four major types of venomous North American snakes would be represented.

Some team nicknames I've come up with since finishing the minors project. If anybody wants to use one of these, maybe Steve can add it:

Arachnids

Panzer Grays

Highwaymen

Brahmas

Sugar Canes

Leafs

Blue Stripes

Gallants

Chieftains

Tridents

Fogcutters

Mad Hatters

Welsh Dragons

Jade Tigers
