Goodness. Someone needs to invest in the farm system and in free agents. That is ridiculous. Looks like that's a team that's bounced in and out of the hands of several owners the last couple of seasons. That probably explains the state it's in.

That team's minor league is even worse. I saw a 38 yo OF, and 41 yo OF and that was in AA and A ball. Talk about a team in bad shape

Thankfully BB is finally killing him. Surely he's playing because of the hits record. I have no idea how he was performing as an All-Star at 42 even in VI; his skills have been terrible for quite awhile.

my next cup opponent has 46 year old pitcher on the ML roster. Hopefully I will see that guy in one or some of the cups games :)

Wow...he's an original player. That's pretty amazing...didn't realize any of them were still playing.

Bots tend to release players in their early to mid-30's. So from those teams, you wouldn't see a lot of players older than 33-34 yo.

Love those candidates to test whether skills will actually go all the way down to 0. That would be the ultimate insult though, to have a guy with quite literally no skills record a hit.

I finally let George Wilkerson go at age 38 when he suddenly couldn't hit LHP anymore.

Don't know why, but I felt inspired to check in on these players' march towards zero SI. Cohen continues to make progress. Butler continues to get time at the major league level but is behind Cohen in the race to zero SI.
