Got a 18yo Pot 13 pitcher, but his SI count is so low that I donĀ“t think he will reach his potential, what do you say guys?

http://brokenbat.org/player/119381 A "Very Good" potential OF with only 12 pot :( Decent range and arm, though, he might pan out.

@Krak, let me answer your question with an illustration...

Exhibit #1
Exhibit #2
Exhibit #3

Starting SI means absolutely nothing at all, especially for 18 and under draftees.

@ Crazy Li

I mostly commented because I felt your first post was a clear example of confirmation bias. :)

But ya, +3 is entirely possible. This is a fresh pull. His pitching skills could all be x.9 for all we know. There is also a difference between a 17 yr old in Rookie ball and a 23 yr old in rookie ball. He's also got 2+ spring trainings. No guarantees, but +3 might even be conservative. I think it is good risk-reward, tho I can appreciate others might have a different opinion.

Got a nice player out of college that has a great hitting report and started out with 82 SI. :D

Second round of junk this year. Tried college while there are enough of them, and I had the choice of two "good", one "above average" and two with nothing overall. All had serious flaws in their scouting. I wasn't expecting much when I went with the "good" pitcher (mostly because I lack homegrown pitchers) and found even less: http://brokenbat.org/player/119157

I pulled a 10pot player. I am having no luck with recent drafts.
