I think the odds are even more steep than the previously mentioned 50 to 1. (Even Mike said those were generous odds.) Your odds are greater to win the powerball or Mega Millions Updated Friday, June 26 2015 @ 2:43:02 pm PDT |

I looked up all the players with 20 in range, arm, and speed becuase those numbers are basically set in stone when the player is drafted. Here is what I came up with 20 speed: 92 20 range: 70 20 arm: 72 Average: 78 So, the odds of getting a player with ONE stat of 20+ (Assuming proper development) is approximately 1 in (78*8)/(# of hitters in the entire game). I estimated rather crudely that there are 50000 players in the game. I could use a better total number. But using 50,000 players, I calculate the odds in being about 1 in 80. So by my count, the odds of getting 20s in all categories for a hitter is 1 in 80^8 or 1 in 1,677,721,600,000,000. Good luck with that. Updated Friday, June 26 2015 @ 3:29:53 pm PDT |
