They have little to no major league playing time. Given regular playing time they will improve, and I believe significantly in the right spots. They won't be stars but they can be workhorses and the price is right. 3 seasons ago I might have given them a chance but they won't help me at the moment. I have picked up a guy that I am training at catcher for the rest of the season or otherwise I would (did) consider Cano and Gallagos. Yes they will take a commitment and time but I know there are teams out there that can make use of these guys. After they cap, they can be workhorses or solid bench players in my opinion. 95th Cub Joined: 03/06/2015 Posts: 100 Racine Bombers VI.18	Thanks for the tip Tiger...I think I have some last minute finds myself, in case you need a backup or stopgap starter for that pennant run (edit: I'd meant these are guys somebody should've signed before Sept. 1, but I guess you should bookmark em and then go after em in the offseason) Juan Martin, OF, 31 yo BR/TR...he's probably your man if you need a slugger, and his range and speed aren't bad either. Casey Turner, 2b/1b, 29 yo, BR/TR...Not a superstar, but he can step in if your current 2B or 1B sucks, or be a good option off the bench. Really need an influx of power and these two should be able to bring it in the future. Don't get how they fell through the trenches though, thought at least one guy would sign them faster...
