My team played much better in Cup than League last year and seems to be continuing this year. Can't buy a win in League

7-10, .227 AVG, .667 OPS, 12 HR, -5 RD, 3.63 ERA, 90 Ks for League

4-4, .253 AVG, .658 OPS, 3 HR, +9 RD, 2.72 ERA, 40 Ks for Cup with me playing my minor leaguers in the initial 4 Cup games (went 1-3 there, 3-1 with my regular team)

Just to buck the trend (I'm in a tough cup group this year):

Cup 3-5:
.235/.290/.368 - .659 OPS
4.81 ERA / 1.438 WHIP

League 7-11:
.235/.293/.384 - .677 OPS
3.92 ERA / 1.318 WHIP

Stats actually a lot closer then I expected. I'd felt more competitive (especially offensively) in league but the stats don't back this up.

League .296/.374/.487 6.24 ERA 1.820 WHIP (8-9)
Cup .222/.304/.354 5.40 ERA 1.829 WHIP (5-7)

Pitching staff seems to mostly be doing the same, but the hitters aren't fairing nearly as well against the pitching in the Cup while they've feasted in the league.
